The Institute is composed of the following bodies:
- The Board of Directors: Responsible for the administration of the institution. It is mandatorily consulted on all matters that may affect the overall operation of the institution. It deliberates on the main issues affecting the operation and management of the institution.
- The General Management: The General Director is empowered to act on behalf of the Board of Directors, whose work he prepares. In this capacity, he directs, leads, coordinates, and monitors all of the Institute’s activities. He is the primary authorizing authority for the Institute’s budget.
- The Scientific and Pedagogical Council: Responsible for developing and updating technical training and practical instruction programs; proposing any measures aimed at improving the quality of training; providing technical advice on any pedagogical issue; and approving work related to the development of doctrine.
The ISEPC Board of Directors is composed of nine (9) members as follows:
- one representative of the Ministry of Civil Protection
- one representative of the National Fire Brigade
- one representative of the Ministry of Finance
- one representative of the Ministry of Defense
- one representative of the Ministry of Cooperation
- one representative of the Ministry of Higher Education
- one representative of the permanent faculty
- one representative of the ISEPC staff
- one representative of the ISEPC students and interns.
The Scientific and Educational Council is composed as follows:
- Chair: Director of Teaching and Programs
- Members: Director of the Laboratory and Certification
- one (1) permanent instructor, appointed by the Director General of ISEPC
- one (1) non-permanent instructor, appointed by the Commander of the National Fire Brigade for a non-renewable term of two (2) years.
Experts and specialists from any other organisation with expertise may be involved in the work of the scientific and educational council for advisory purposes.
