ISEPC

The Higher Institute for Civil Protection Studies (ISEPC) hosted the official opening ceremony of the 2025 session of the Command of Rescue Operations/Medical Rescue Director (COS) training course on the morning of Monday, November 3, 2025. This high-level training program brings together twenty-one officer trainees from eleven partner countries, once again demonstrating the international scope and regional influence of ISEPC in the field of civil protection.

In his opening remarks, the Director General of ISEPC, Lieutenant Colonel Zouno Gérard Bambara, welcomed the trainees and emphasized the importance and objectives of the course. “This training aims to strengthen your command skills, your analytical abilities, and your effectiveness in conducting rescue operations, often in complex and demanding contexts,” he stated.

Presided over by Colonel NAON Daba, Commander of the National Fire Brigade and Chairman of the Board of Directors of ISEPC, this opening ceremony marked the official launch of the training course. In his address, Colonel NAON emphasized the strategic importance of command in the effective management of rescue operations. He encouraged the trainees to demonstrate diligence, rigor, and teamwork to make the most of this training, which aims to strengthen their operational and decision-making capabilities in emergency situations. This training course is part of ISEPC’s ongoing efforts to professionalize emergency services and share African expertise.
