The Higher Institute for Civil Protection Studies (ISEPC) officially launched the 2026 session of its first aid instructor training course on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.
This training program brings together twenty-two (22) participants from eleven (11) African countries: Benin, Cameroon, Comoros, Gabon, Guinea, Equatorial Guinea, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Togo, and Burkina Faso.
This participation illustrates the regional appeal of ISEPC and the growing interest in strengthening skills in first aid and civil protection. During this session, trainees will consolidate their technical knowledge while developing the pedagogical skills necessary to, in turn, teach first aid techniques.
The opening ceremony featured a presentation of the course by Chief Warrant Officer Jérôme ILBOUDO, representing the Director of Education and Programs at ISEPC. He reiterated the training objectives and its importance in disseminating best practices in emergency response.
In his address, the Director General of ISEPC, Lieutenant Colonel Zouno Gérard Bambara, commended the participants' commitment and emphasized the need to train instructors capable of effectively teaching first aid techniques. He encouraged the trainees to demonstrate diligence and rigor throughout the two-week training program.
