From January 20 to 30, 2026, the Higher Institute for Civil Protection Studies (ISEPC) deployed its expertise at the IAMGOLD Essakane SA mining site, through a training session in Level 1 Civic Prevention and First Aid (PSC1), and Levels 1 and 2 Team First Aid (PSE1 and PSE2).
The overall objective of this training was to strengthen participants' ability to react effectively in emergencies by mastering essential first aid techniques.
By hosting this training, the mining company IAMGOLD Essakane reaffirms its position as a responsible and proactive company in risk management. This initiative demonstrates responsible leadership and a concrete commitment to ensuring the safety of its personnel and its professional environment.
The added value of this training lies in the quality of the instruction, the relevance of the content, and the rigorous approach applied to teaching life-saving techniques. Participants leave with reliable skills that can be directly applied in the event of an incident. Each module was conducted methodically, from analyzing emergency situations to correctly performing first aid procedures, including organizing the alert and securing the scene.
Through this training, ISEPC reaffirms its mission: to offer high-quality, certified training tailored to the needs of its partner organizations.
